What makes EDC so effective in quickly identifying threats to frontline environmental defenders?
When defenders are in crisis, they reach out to people they trust. EDC’s Action Partnerships model builds partnerships with a wide array of organizations that are more likely to be defenders’ “first call”, making it possible for us to facilitate fast and flexible funding that is made on the basis of trust that has already been built.
