Noah (he/him) joined The Overbrook Foundation as Chief Finance and Administration Officer in 2022. He has over 25 years of nonprofit financial and operations leadership experience, with an expertise in building and managing processes for supporting grant-making, auditing, HR, and compliance.
He also enjoys working on, and is experienced in, issues of organizational mission, governance, strategy, and culture. Before joining The Overbook Foundation, Noah served as the Chief Operating Officer for Touch Foundation, an international NGO focused on health systems strengthening in Africa. Prior to that he ran his own nonprofit financial management consulting practice for clients including the Ford Foundation, Helen Keller International, The Tiger Foundation, and others. He has worked for a number of New York City-focused and national nonprofits on issues related to poverty alleviation and economic and social justice.
Noah currently serves as a Board member and Treasurer for Big Reuse, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit that promotes reuse, recycling, and composting across the New York City. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he majored in International Politics, and has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Columbia University’s School for International and Public Affairs, where he concentrated in Nonprofit Finance. Most recently, Noah has earned a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from the Cornell School of Industrial Relations. Noah lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son, and spends some of his free time in upstate New York, where he is very slowly building a very tiny house.
