                Turning the Tide on Single Use Plastics: Perpetual Gains Support for its Model with $2M+ in EPA Funding

      Perpetual’s unique model to replace single use plastics with an ecosystem of reusable materials got a big boost in the form of two grants totaling more than $2 million from the EPA to Perpetual’s municipal partners in Hilo Hawai’i. Perpetual’s pilot in Hilo is one of four currently being run to demonstrate how medium-sized cities can replace their reliance on single use plastic with a reusable approach to food containers.
Perpetual, whose first grant ever came from the Overbrook Foundation in 2022, is making huge strides, and is just getting going. To learn more, read their press release here.
